Steven Grodko, a former Merrill Lynch broker was terminated from Merrill Lynch following allegations of “conduct including trading without obtaining client authorization, providing inaccurate responses to management inquiries, and failure to follow management directive relating to firm policy on piggybacking.” He was also alleged to have misrepresented material facts and alleged unspecified confusion regarding the sale of a security while he was employed at Fahnestock & Company. These are all against securities laws. Mr. Grodko was previously registered with Walter Capital Corp from June 1984 until February 1985, Edward Viner & Co. from February 1985 until April 1988, Fahnestock International from April 1988 until April 1988, Oppenheimer & Co. in New York, New York from April 1988 until February 2011 and Merrill Lynch in New York from February 2011 until December 2013. He is currently registered with American Portfolios Financial Services in Teaneck, New Jersey and has been since January 2014. He has two customer disputes against him.
